After a decent start to the season saw us sitting at .500 at the end of May, some Paris fans thought this season may finally be a season of change, but an 11-15 record in June was a cold bucket of water on those dreams. The offense has been good, bordering on excellent at times; but the Patriots have been let down by pitching (the rotation specifically). The baseball gods didn't do the Patriots any favors in June either, with two of the team's starters suffering season ending injuries. Brian Bright, who had been a pleasant surprise since being picked up off waivers, tore his flexor tendon in his first start of the month, and Moses Tallchief may miss the rest of the season with elbow soreness. Paris was dealt a further blow when breakout outfielder Pancho Martínez tore a muscle in his back tracking down a David González fly ball. The season sits at a crossroads with the Patriots sitting last in the West and three starters out for the season.
