1B Sammy Dawbin of the Paris Patriots honored: Wins the EBA EBA Batter of the Month Award.
Dawbin is a 26 year old left-handed batting 1B-corner outfielder who absolutely rakes right handed pitching. He has progressed each of his four EBA seasons, though he has just over 2 years of full service time.
Will we ever see him in the MBBA? Of course, if he stays at his current talent levels. There's always room for a hitter like this coming off of an MBBA bench; heck, for a handful of teams he'd be a heavy-platoon starter.
SP Eduardo López of the Munchen Brauers honored: Wins the EBA EBA Pitcher of the Month Award.
This 21 year old wunderkind is in his second full EBA season, and his first as a full time starter. Control is his only issue. He has an incredible live arm, good movement on three outstanding pitches, and is an outstanding team leader. He has a decent chance to win 20 games this year.
Will we ever see him in the MBBA? Undoubtedly.
C Dominique Vizzoni of the Munchen Brauers honored: Wins the EBA EBA Rookie of the Month Award.
He won the award in April as well, the only two time winner of the EBA's monthly awards this season. Continues to dominate righties, and sit against lefties.
Will we ever see him in the MBBA? Quite possibly. Power and eye are good enough to overshadow his borderline contact and average at best defensive abilities.
