This is true, but he is hardly the only reason we have put up much better numbers to date then you predicted. You didn't think much of my pitching that is currently putting up some pretty good numbers. That may not last but they have been as responsible as anyone. I also have a couple of guys at AAA that are ready as well. The 70 combined RBI's from Spencer and Lerma have also helped.aaronweiner wrote:Can't complain. Will it continue the entire season? Probably not at that level, but the projected 74 wins was going to be beat with or without Sandcastle.

Smoke and mirrors right now in Madison. We just went 7-2 for our best sim of the year. Our pythag says we should be a game under .500. Our offense has been absolutely terrible to this point. I'd say most of your team is playing out of their minds well at this point. And my projection wasn't based on what Lerma and Spencer might do, but what they had done. If this keeps up all year, you'll win 100 games, but if they fall back to norms then I'm thinking 85 wins.

I don't see that at all. Pruitt and Sandcastle are playing above what they has done, yes. Spencer is a above past performance, but he is a young player who wasn't even fully developed until last year. Not really fair to compare what a player has done to what he should do when he hadn't reached full potential yet. At the same time I don't expect him to continue on this pace. Same with Lerma. Nobody on the pitching staff is really out of their mind with the exception of Sierra.
I fully expect Carolina to win the division still, but the Blazers playing well this season isn't unexpected by me. I predicted this was coming in a post last year. We will most likely level off this season and fight for a WC spot.
