2017 draft class

Post by Edward Murphy » Sun Jul 27, 2014 12:14 pm

I was taking a look at the 2017 draft class and noticed that signability for the Kernels is not that good, out of the top 10 players based on potential stars:

3 players are impossible, 2 extremely hard, 1 hard, 2 normal, and 2 very easy

Would like to know what other GM’s are seeing.

Signability for me falls smack under the heading "Don't wanna."

There's a couple guys in the OOTPOU pool who shouldn't be, so I have to disable the draft for a bit while I explore which setting I have wrong.

Maybe Allen Walters can be a utility guy. Not want you want to see from the #9 overall pick.

I might skip the draft article this year. No, really, just skip it, or at least modify it so that it's more like a dim feature rather than any kind of actual work.

You could do a top 9? I had real hope after last season's draft.

One thing to keep in mind is OOTP has moved the draft to a more high potential prospects but more bust potential kind of mode. That said this is the worst draft class in the history of ever. Probably because we have had a recent run of awesome international guys and last years uber draft. I expect next year to be closer to last year than this year.

Dear, Lord Jesus, how did that happen!? Shocked to say the least. I figured I'd get the fourth guy on my list and wasn't happy about it. Early Christmas in Long Beach!

Just getting caught up in the draft. I know I supported Hinson as the number one pick, but Cavazos was always number 2. Crazy that he dropped to 4. Bargain.
