Questions

Post by DoubleB » Thu Jul 29, 2010 12:18 am

I've been browsing the forums but don't see answers to these questions...

Spending Participation Points... the link in the Constitution goes to a thread that discusses rewards but nothing finalized. Are there options available re: branding / logos / uniforms? I get the reference to Hackensack and Monty Brewster so I won't ask about relocation. Okay... relocation?

Game Engine Settings... I see the link in the Constitution goes to a thread that says "TBA" and no further listing. Looks like 0-20 actual and 0-10 talents but what are the detailed settings?

Other stuff I should know? Looks like no DH, coaching staff on payroll, no trading picks. Draft lottery? Stadium modifiers?

Draft... as I asked in another thread.. what happened with my first 3 picks getting released in this year's draft?

Ah, after looking, I think I remember there being some draft error because we had two drafts in a season. As a result, some players had to be re-drafted then released in the first couple rounds. I could be wrong, though.

But I drafted Buster Pridemore in the first draft, then saw this in my transactions:

SP Buster Pridemore got drafted by the Madison Wolves.

I assume he was then released and assignde to my system.

How about answering my question... what draft fiasco? Should these guys be on my roster or not?

Thanks Joel... between that link and what Lynchy has been telling me via PM I think I can drop this now.

The dates on the transactions I saw were 1996... I was expecting that a spring 1996 draft had occurred and the players that were in the transactions had all been released. What I see now is that this was actually the 1995 postseason draft... and the 1996 one is approaching.

Now... someone tell me about PPT rewards and game settings please.

I never released Pridemore, I just transferred him back to Des Moines. So he is where he is supposed to be, on your Portsmouth team.

Don't think we have PPT rewards yet. They've been discussed, but I don't know if ever finalized.

The MBBA is actually an online fake cricket league as far as settings go.

We've been talking about possible rewards. Most likely, they will entail relocation, logo, name changes, etc...but we're trying to find a few more.

As for the settings, here is a link to some of the rule changes before this season and moving into next. I will see what I can do to get a comprehensive settings list for you.

I have not had a free moment since the time I said I'd redo the PP's....the few I've had have been consumed by simming and/or medical issues.

All snide comments aside, I'm trying my best.

Who's putting snide comments aside. No, seriously, who? Darn it, bring them back. I'm not going to be in a league where there isn't moxie and tomfoolery and hullabaloo and a few zowies and zingers.

Bully that.

Okay... no problem. As long as I know there isn't a link out there that I can't find.

Had a thought re: the game settings as I was passing out this afternoon... I'm on midnight shift right now. Check in game.
