Hawaii 6 Vancouver 4- Sunday August 5, 2063

Attendance- 54,564 at Northwoods Outpost

Hawaii 3B Jorge Dodd goes 3 for 5 and the back end of the bullpen holds on to give the Trops a series opening win.

Dodd homered (23), scored two runs and drove in two to lead the offense. Julian Rivera was 1 for 4 with a two-run double (19) in the 6th inning.

Semih Gurani gave up just one run on three hits and two walks in four innings of work. He passd the ball to Alex Gacia who allowed two runs on no hits and a couple of walks with an assist by an error. He pitched 1.2 innings with a K and earned the win to improve to 8-3. Cale Cote fanned the only batter he faced to earn the save.

Vancouver 2 Hawaii 1- Monday, August 6, 2063

WP- Juan ‘Trojan’ Garcia (7-13)

LP- Jose Ordonez (7-3)

Save- Jesus Garcia (30)

Attendance- 46,513 at Northwoods Outpost

Vancouver starter Juan ‘Trojan’ Garcia and two relievers put a wrapper on the Trops to even the series 1-1. Garcia allowed just a run on six hits and walked two in 7.2 innings to pick up his 7th win. The bullpen kept Hawaii hitless the rest of the way to seal the win.

Trops starter Gheorghe Sollomovici was solid allowing a run on four hits and three Ks in 5.1 innings. Jose Ordonez took the loss after giving up a solo homer with two Ks to fall to 7-3.

Vancouver 6 Hawaii 2- Tuesday, August 7, 2063

WP- Micah Harrington (2-0)

LP- Martin ‘Lumps’ Garcia (2-5)

Attendance- 47,904 at Northwoods Outpost

Mounties hurler Micah Harrigton smothered the Tropics vaunted offense to put Vancouver up 2-1 in the four-game series. He allowed two runs on five hits and a couple walks while fanning five Tropics.

Trops starter Martin ‘Lumps’ Garcia struggled through 4.1 innings allowing three runs on five hits with three Ks and was tagged with his 5th loss. Cale Cote and Reynaldo Trinidad combined for 2.2 scoreless innings then Utkan Gocek gave up three unearned runs in an inning.

C Jeff Appleton was 1 for 3 with a solo homer (7) and struck out two times. Carlos Schumann was 1 for 2 with a walk and a ribbie.

Vancouver 6 Hawaii 1- Wednesday, August 8, 2063

WP- Qing-lai Ou-yang (5-3)

LP- Ruben bin Majid al Din (4-3)

Time: 3:31

Attendance- 54,685 at Northwoods Outpost

The Mounties win the series with an easy win over the lackluster, slumping Tropics. Hawaii managed just a run on eight hits and a walk in the series finale. Jose Ordonez drove in the lone run with a double (17) that plated Carlos Schumann from third after he had tripled (5).

Trops starter Ruben bin Majid al Din was scuffling against the Mounties lineup and left the game with two outs in the 3rd. He gave up five runs on eight hits and a couple of walks in his short time on the mound.

The Vancouver Mounties win the four-game series 3-1.
