Position Player of the Sim:

Royce Hinkle

Hinkle bounced back after a rough couple of sims to pick up 11 hits in 29 at bats and knocked 2 homeruns and 7 RBIs. The Mounties rookie is still having a hell of a season.

Pitcher of the Sim:

Jesus Garcia

Garcia continues to impress as he extends his run-less streak to 20 games, picking up 2 saves and a win in 3 appearances.

Dud of the Sim:

Tyler Conklin

A rough time at the plate this sim for Conklin, as he failed to pick up a hit and struck out 4 times in 15 plate appearances. His defense has also been somewhat disappointing, but I'll give it more time before truly judging

Transactions & Injuries:

No major injuries this sim or any major transactions. There are rumors swirling about a potential extension for newly acquired Juan Garcia. He has reached the 5 year minimum service time and although he has one year of arbitration remaining, I'd like to keep him long term and work out a deal.

Next Sim:

The Mounties will finish up their homestead with a four game battle against Des Moines, before travelling to Louisville to take on the Sluggers.
