I thought last season may never be topped, but I dunno man, this year’s content…it’s just getting to the point where it’s hard to rate the BBA Goodness that you guys are creating year-over-year. Great is Great. There are no gradations, right?
Beyond all the “normal” previews and whatnot, the list of features is Full of Amazing.
First, there’s Nathan Garrison—who has embarked on a GARTGANTUAN project, putting together franchise All-Time Modern Era Teams. He’s got four of them in this volume. They are great reading for BBA newbies, but are guaranteed to bring a sentimental tear to the eyes of BBA long-haulers. Much great. Renato Umali checks in with BBA Hols ’em, a new BBA fandom craze. GBC’er Justin Beloit pens a view from the pen of a player. And don’t even get me started on what Jessie Ramirez has done—mostly because even if I could describe it, I wouldn’t want to ruin it for you.
And, did I mention that Mrs. 7teen makes an appearance? Chris presents his interview of his most patient half that really cannot be missed.
There are a few regulars, too. Of course. The Caleca Award is awarded. As is the 2042 Kevin Morales Award. Minors are reviewed. Good Cop/Bad Cop raises some questions perhaps better of not answered. And, of course, the Hall of Fame Inductees are … um … inducted.
And thanks to John Momberg, also for his BBA-mashups of cartoons.
As always, this has been so fun to put together. And, seriously, once again you really don't want to skip anything.
