What's a daily lineup?

Voted always, as in i always want to be using 7 day lineups. I've found that using them allows me to have better control of player fatigue as opposed to letting the manager handle it. Can also tailor lineups to certain pitchers whether mine or opponents.

I don't always remember to do them but I find a lot of value in them.

I’ve found tinkering with this level of detail is more likely to cause an unanticipated negative consequence than something positive so I don’t bother.

Sometimes it doesn’t matter but this year I’m alternating my fifth starter between a lefty and righty so I do manipulate my rotation. I keep the setting “strict order” and just tweak the rotation order directly.

I planned on doing it when I made the playoffs but, y'know, have to MAKE them first.

I started using them a couple seasons ago. Haven't looked back. Easier to manage rest days.

I use them during long stretches without a day off. In the playoffs when I want to match up against a team.

That requires that I level up in time commitment. I just started micro-managing my farm system. I need more time to adjust to something like this.

When I'm focused, I always use them...but I'm not always focused.

It depends on how the manager is utilizing the team. One season my controlling manager refused to follow any directions so I set lineup and we started winning more. (Never hire a manager who won't give you 100 percent control as needed.)

I also use them if I'm managing a day to day injury or want to fuss with specific usage. But if I like my manager choices I don't see a huge need to tinker.
