Welcome to the new Bonus Cash and Stadium Maintenance Dues info and Link thread. Note that Bonus Cash and Stadium Maintenance Dues apply only to the BBA, and not the GBC.

Bonus Cash Overview
The BBA has a unique process for managing cash outside of OOTP. We call this Bonus Cash, and it works in conjunction with the in-game cash (now known as "Starting Balance) maximum of $20 million. Bonus funds are capped at $40 million, and the default function is for payment of Stadium Maintenance Dues (we'll get to that below).
At the end of each season, if your cash balance is greater than $20 million, you may be notified that your owner took a certain amount of money as profit for the season. That money goes into your bonus funds (up to the $40 million cap)! Immediately after adding that amount to your previous season ending balance, we subtract Stadium Maintenance dues. At no time will Bonus Funds be above $40 million, so it follows that the only way for your Bonus Funds to equal $40 million will be if you have $0 Maintenance Dues, or you buy Bonus Funds during the offseason.
At the end of the offseason, if your Bonus Funds account is negative, that amount will be transferred into the game. Yes, even if your in-game cash is $0, it will be put into the red.
Participation Points may be used to purchase Bonus Cash at a rate of 10 points per $1 million.
Using Bonus Funds
Bonus funds may only be used in the offseason, and in addition to Stadium Maintenance Dues, can be used for Ballpark Construction/Relocation, and Renovation Awards. Bonus Funds may be converted to in-game cash at a 1:1 rate with no Participation Point cost by posting in the PPT subforum. Bonus Cash may also be used in Trades in the offseason only.
Stadium Maintenance Dues
These dues are an integral part of the BBA's financial model. All BBA teams must pay to maintain their stadiums as outlined in the Constitution. Dues depend on multiple factors: age, capacity, field surface, and roof type. Stadiums under 10 years old have no base maintenance dues.

Re: Bonus Cash and Stadium Maintenance Dues Info & Tracker
Updated for the beginning of the 2061-2062 Off Season.
There are 14 teams with negative balances to begin the offseason. As a reminder, you may rectify this using points or cash transfer before the season starts, if not then the amount will reduce your in-game cash at the end of the off season.
