Thanks, man. The coast was beautiful and the campsite (Sunset Bay State Park) was well-shaded. Almost too well-shaded - had to wear a sweater in the morning! Drove inland towards Eugene and eventually to Portland and the temp skyrocketed dramatically to over 100 degrees.

No ... the kid has different priorities! Voodoo Donuts being #1. I had the "Butterfingering" and the "Mango Tango." Then there's this weird Eastern European / Russian market called "Overseas Taste" that he likes to get some "Russian sausage." Then spent the rest of the day in the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry in the air-conditioning with a few pals. Should've bought my laptop with me, actually.
