The Stars having another bad season 46-72 are hanging on to third place ahead of Hawaill buy a few games....Hopefully next season will be a little better but the Stars are in rebuilding mode...

The Stars traded vet INF Tim McGraw..With the Stars not doing well and McGraw looking to play for a winning team McGraw got his wish and was sent to Omaha...McGraw was doing very good for the Stars hitting .270 10 50..The Stars recieved back outfielder Marquez Rayas..Rayas 28, has really never got a chance to play much but he will be given plenty of playing time her in Valencia....

Outfielder Seok-heung Pak wonthe top rookie award in July...The rookie right fielder for Valencia tagged opposing pitchers for a .330 batting average and was the top votegetter for the Rookie of the Month trophy. He won it by going 36-109 in 26 games with 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Overall Pak is hitting .302 25 doubles 6 homers and 41 RBIS....

Valencia left fielder Guam Fantomhorsfli HIT a home run during the Stars 8-6 loss to Madison yesterday. The long ball was a significant achievement and raised his career home run total to 300. The Valencia star went 3 hits for 4 at-bats during the game, scoring 2 runs and had 1 RBI. Overall he is hitting .280 14 49 for the 37 year old vet.....
