The season finally is over..The Stars in a rebuilding mode should get a top pick plus have room to pickup some free agents....The good news the Stars didnt lose 100 games...The 99 games is the worst so far passing the 85 loss last season...

SS George Bellairs ended his first year with the Stars with mixed reveiws...Bellairs had 28 doubles, 5 triples, 24 homers and drove in 80 runs..But hit .235 and his biggest problem was those 175 k's.....He also stole 19 bases...It was Bellairs best year since 1997...The Stars really need a few more bats around him to help the Stars offense...

Outfielder Jonathan Armas had a soild year and could of been better if he didnt miss 3 weeks this season...Armas ended up hitting .296 31 doubles and 22 homers as he also drove in 70 runs...The .296 batting average is the same as last season....

SP Devon Hyngary since 1994 has had over 200 K's every season and did it again this season with 244...In 1999 he had a high of 312....Hyngary ended up the year with a 12-13 record 3.70 ERA....

SP Keith Cabana had a up and down year but managed to win 17 games on this team who only had 63 wins...Cabana also had 20 losses...Overall Cabana pitched in 40 games, pitched in 267 innings and had 225 k's...Cabana went 17-20 with a 3.94 era...You can only imangine how many games he would of won if he had more run support....
