We Got Wood -42.47 - Help Us Kate, You're Our Only Hope

Post by 7teen » Tue May 05, 2020 1:29 pm

In a season going down hill in Portland on the field, off the field things are heating up. With a narrow victory in the quarterfinals, "Kate's Kookies" defeated the "Jon Reed Messy Burrito" to advance to the final 4 of the BBA's Ballpark Food Challenge. While winning a championship on the field may be a distant dream for the Lumberjacks organization, claiming the gold in this tournament is becoming a real possibility. So much so that Kate Fiscus made yet another appearance at The Trail in Multnomah this week and brought some special guests.

"I can't say enough how proud I am of our cookies and our progress in this bracket" said Kate Fiscus in another surprise appearance to the left field concourse concession stand area at the ballpark. "Knocking off the San Fernando entry was no tough feat, especially when you throw in discounted beer. But again, we stick to our guns here and bourbon is always better than beer. Yes, even at the ballpark!"

Up next in the bracket for Kate's Kookies is the "Hot Mess", an entry from Edmonton. The entry is a concoction of things that looks like it's namesake, a hot mess.

"That looks like what I deposit in my toilet on a weekly occasion" chimed in Portland GM Chris Wilson, who has remained somewhat silent during the whole food bracket challenge. "Who wants to eat gravy at a baseball game? And that description the use. 'Shoots out like an oil geyser'? Yeah, I'd be spending a few innings in the bathroom either shitting or puking that shit up like a geyser."

Re-gaining focus on her own entry, Kate stepped back in and stated "Again fellas, everyone loves cookies. You can't go wrong with cookies. They go with everything. Hot day at the park, cold day at the park. You name it. And the bourbon ones for the adults are to die for. If you don't believe me, I brought the help of a few other Kate's who seem to like them as well. Kate's, come on out..."
