- 100 points to cover the base cost of Black Sox Park, the new stadium in Calumet City, IL.
- 200 points to cover $20 million of the $50 million cost of the stadium.
I also will pay $15 million from my bonus funds towards that cost, plus $5 million from Huntsville’s cash on hand, for a grand total of $40 million.
The remaining $10 million I’d like to cover with the ballpark payment plan. These payments would start with the Winter Meetings of 2041 and run through 2050. Question for Aaron: If I’m in position to do so, can I pay that debt off sooner? If not, that's fine.
I’ve already written and published three TN’s (here and here and here) about the proposed stadium, so that portion of the requirement is already met.
