On the Diamond Vol. 5 2001

Pitcher of the sim:
SP Michael Shellenbarger
1-0 with a 0.00 ERA and 6 K's in 8 IP. Shelly pitched a fantastic game in his only start of the sim.

Batter of the sim:
RF Sadaharu Oh Jr
.394 Avg in 33 AB's. After struggling to start the year, this is Oh Jr's 2nd straight great sim.

7-2 sim. Perhaps my players hear me ranting and felt the noose tightening around their necks. Whatever the reason, the team finally broke through and had a great sim. Now come on guys, I need more of these 7-2 sims the rest of the year.

You've still got tons of talent...it just has to produce.

Im well aware. But i feel like the window is very narrow. Merino, Shelly, Waite, Oh Jr. all nearly over 30. The only young stud I have is Orm. I don't want to do anything drastic but i feel nervy about my teams future.

Well, they always said to deal players one year early than one year late.

exactly. but i don't want to do it 2 years early if my team could be a potential contender this year. I guess what i really want is people to flood me with offers too good to refuse for all my good vets and make my decision for me.
