Yes, Yellow Springs and California are probably going to take the Frick Heartland and Pacific divisions. Yes, Louisville is pretty much a lock for a playoff spot. But from there, the Frick league is in a “who the hell can tell?” kind of position.
Omaha (3 games out) faces a tough row to hoe, but may also have the pleasure of having their fate in their own hands. They get four games with Mexico that they should be favored in, then face playoff contenders the rest of the way in Twin Cities, California, and finally Calgary. Given that Calgary currently holds the last playoff spot, holding their own early in that span means their four-game series could be the bomb.
Long Beach (1.5 games out) and Seattle (1.5 games out) are both in the mix, but face a hugely critical 6-game stretch where they play each other. Long beach then lakes on Heartlanders Louisville and Des Moines. Seattle gets Des Moines and Mexico City. Slight advantage to she Storm, but seriously, this sim is huge.
Calgary (Currently in), as noted above, will finish the season with Omaha, but has Vancouver, the Yellow Springs Nine, and the Madison Wolves in the mix beforehand. It’s a tough spot, really—unless the Nine are in roll-over mode to protect themselves from injury, but even them you’ve got two playoff hungry teams to deal with.
Madison and Twin Cities (2 games up) are not safe by any stretch of the imagination. The River Monsters get Louisville and scrappy Omaha, but also have a kinder part of the schedule that includes eight games against Valencia and Mexico City. The Wolves get four with Valencia, but will need to be on their best footing as they see California and Calgary before ending up with Louisville.
FINAL PREDICTIONS IMPOSSIBLE
All you can really say at this point is that anything is possible. Pick any collection of teams and you can probably fins a scenario where they can get in. Our favorite mix, of course, sends pretty much the entire Heartland division in against California, but you can fill your card in with pretty much any picture and make a fun debate.

Re: 2033 Frick Wild Card Is Wild!
Sounds like it's time to play spoiler. If my AAA team gets eliminated from the playoffs early I'm probably going to have a whole staff of youngsters getting called up. Whether that will make it easier or harder to play against me is anyone's guess but it might be a different Mexico City team than you've seen all year.
