Edmonton seeking new GM

Post by allenr » Sun Aug 06, 2017 1:19 pm

Hey guys.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to step back. Now that I'm back to work I'm finding that I just don't have the time required to properly participate here. I would've loved to stay and keep contributing but that doesn't seem like it's in the cards.

Best of luck to Brooks or whomever gets the team. Feel free to pm me if you want insight on where I was heading, though the general answer is train the kids.

I exported for the next sim already so at least there's that. Should give the new GM a few days to get settled.

Sorry to up and leave. Things are what they are.

I'll not speak for everyone else, but I've found that it's easy to take a step back here and just do the basics for a bit. You've already met the TN PP requirements for the year.

Recte and the league has been great with me when I needed to step back. :)

So, if you want to reconsider, i'll wait until tomorrow's sim to make a decision.

I agree with Ron. Since you've met your PP already, take a step back and see if you can just export regularly if this is something you enjoy. I go through these spurts every year as well where I just can't write as much as I'd like but do what I can.

i don't disagree with what the others are saying, but if you do end up stepping away I hope brooksy gets Edmonton uncontested. He deserves it.

My secret play is to get Brooksy Louisville. Or these days I guess I need to focus on ousting Twin Cities.

You're gonna have to kill a lot of people to get Louisville into Brooksy's hands, what with all those illegitimate children ready to take over the reins from Genius.

Appreciate the sentiment, unfortunately that's just not going to cut it (dl and export just to meet quotas).

Hopefully I'll be back here sometime, as I massively enjoyed this league in the short couple seasons I participated.

Good luck all (except Louisville).
