The autopicker in this utility is surprisingly good.

It basically just selects the top POT stars left (with some unknown to me tie-breaking method). So, I mean, it won't pick someone completely out of left field (pardon the pun) if that is the threshold for success.

In this case I think you guys drafted everyone from left field, right field and center field already. :)

Well, yes, Kyle, but at least it's not moronic.

It must have been tweaked by Matt lol, I just joined another league in the middle of a draft and the autopick for the first five rounds was 3 catchers and 2 1B's. None of them particulary good

Curious if the draft emails are usually unpredictable. I got a couple that at least told me the draft had started but never got anything telling me I was up.

My bad, I guess. I had waited on Thursday and early Friday and had checked the site a few times to see what was up. I must have missed something saying that the clock was actually starting. Too much going on at once, I'm sure.

I dunno, I had second pick and got an email telling me I was on the clock. Then like 4 picks later or whatever was that message about the clock not being started. All in all rather confused, but it's fine. We're moving along now.

Happy to get Ayala here in the middle of the round. One of the best hitters still available plus an outside shot of being a halfway decent catcher... I'll take that every day.

Really wasn't planning on taking Marin, but best guy on board and maybe the best intangibles I've ever seen. Hope he gets a few range bumps.

Missed it by 10 minutes. There were a few guys I would have considered but Archuleta was on the short list.

If not he's another 1B in the Phil Chapman, Dan Leonard (lite) mold, and you've done okay there before.

I'm up, but away from the PC that I can get to OOTPOU right now. I should get to it in a bit, but if anyone wants to speed things up and hit the buttons to draft CF Jesus Rojas for me, that would be great.

Will bet real money right now that I know who Huntsville drafts if they don't autopick and Montreal doesn't take him. I'll be honest but I get odds (there's still 200 players out there)
