GM Change, Havana Sugar Kings

Post by recte44 » Wed Aug 17, 2016 9:47 pm

This truly pains me. However, the fact is that we haven't heard from Adam in over two weeks. He hasn't exported since somewhere around the All-Star break. I have tried multiple times to contact him via the boards, two different emails and Facebook. Kyle has tried to reach him via Skype. We have radio silence. I hope everything is ok with Adam. Hopefully, it's just a busy period in his life and nothing major has happened. My hope is that he'll come back again soon, say he just got busy, and we can welcome him back into our community.

I can't let a MBBA team run on auto-pilot anymore, especially considering the rope I've given (Constitution gives me the power to remove a GM after three straight missed exports at my discretion). That being said, we have to move on.

Enter Bisbo. Wally had been in contact with me for quite some time and had expressed interest to return. He was a very active and involved GM in the old days. He didn't come with us upon restart, instead spending a long run in the GUBA. Now he's back where it all began. :)

Welcome back. I like the resume. A former Calgary GM has got to be a great addition to the league

That's what I thought about a former Omaha GM. Look how that turned out...

Sorry to hear about Adam. It happens, though, usually for good reason. Welcome back, Wally ... from a still newb. :)

I assume Wally realizes this means he has to do the Drew Zodcast, right?

Yeah, I really miss that. Does anyone else know how to podcast? If not, I'll try to figure it out.

Welcome back, Wally!

Also, I'm not sure if I have a good voice for radio, but I will look in to what it takes to do a little podcasting.

Ha. I kid, I kid. Our rivalry has caused me some agony to be sure, but it has definitely increased both my investment in and my enjoyment of the league.

On a serious note, I hope Adam is alright. Welcome back Wally.

Apologies all. I fell into a serious funk lately and blew it - sorry to have let you all down and I can only wish Bisbo the best going forward. Los Beisbolitos are a damn fine team, even if they've only ever been terrible.

re: the Zodcast, I'll produce on in the near future.
