Boise scored 4.0 runs per game in Sim #10 (recap) but gave up a whopping 7.8. The sudden suckage from the pitching staff was too much as the Spuds went 1-6 in 7 games. That's just not going to get the job done. Now the Spuds have to wish for a win to avoid a sweep in the middle of a 12-game home stand.
SPUDS OF THE SIM - SIM #10
Pitcher

P Alfredo Morán
5 G, 5.40 ERA, 6.2 IP, 4.0 K/BB, 1.05 WHIP, +0.1 WAR
Starters Thomas Turner and rookie Felipe Ledesma each had quality outings. Turner went 7.1 innings allowing 3 runs while Ledesma logged a 5-inning start allowing just 2 runs, though he did give up 8 hits. Cornelio Martínez continues to earn his callup going 3 innings over 2 appearances allowing a run and fanning 4. But Morán was just that much better booking 3.2 innings over 3 games allowing only 1 run and 1 hit.
Batter

1B Tracy 'Jigga' Allison
60 G, 12 G, 6 3B, 4 HR, 28 RBI, .244/.290/.382, 40 SB, +0.5 WAR
RF Tsutomu Yamauchi and LF Cosmo Pan swapped places in the lineup, with the former sliding up to the #2 spot, and it seems to have yielded dividends. Yamauchi logged 6 RBI in Sim #10 with 1 triple and 3 HR slashing .241/.267/.621 and swiping a base. Pan, meanwhile, slashed .286/.333/.524 with 2 doubles and a HR notching 5 RBI. Allison was better overall, however, posting 4 doubles, a triple and a HR while slashing .303/.303/.576 and swiping 3 bases in as many attempts.
