Boise bounces back from a disastrous Sim #7 to post a 4-3 record this week. That includes taking 3 of 4 on the road in Jacksonville. Also, winning the last game of the Charm City series with SP Héctor Silva on the mound. Though they dropped the last 2 games in Montreal, a winning Sim has to be such a relief.

v Charm City Jimmies 3-2 W SP Josh 'Kid' Clark (W) - 7.0 IP, 8 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 6 K
CL Mario Santos (SV-6)
After getting swatted like a gnat in the first 3 games of the series vs Charm City, Boise bounces back to win a close game in the finale. It was ace vs ace with Kid Clark turning in a stat line to rival Héctor Silva's 8 IP, 5 H, 3 R, 2 BB, 3 K. You would expect that the Spuds would have to get to Charm City's bullpen to have a chance but because of Clark it wasn't necessary.

@ Jacksonville Zombies 6-2 W SP Mahad 'Furball' Einan (W) - 7.0 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 2 K
@ Jacksonville Zombies 13-4 W SP Felipe Ledesma (W) - 5.0 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 4 BB, 3 K
@ Jacksonville Zombies 0-7 L P Buddhapalita Kankipati (L) - 3.1 IP, 8 H, 6 R, 1 BB, 3 K
@ Jacksonville Zombies 11-5 W SP Dan Boman (W) - 6.0 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 4 BB, 3 K
'Furball' Einan got the Jacksonville series off to a solid start with an outstanding performance. Rookie DH William Coleman provided the spark with a 2-RBI triple in the 3rd inning. Ledesma did just enough in the 2nd game but it was a moot point as the offense went off on Zombies SP Tony Gallegos for 6 runs in 1.2 innings then put up 5 runs on P Takehide Getrudes in just over an inning. The offensive fireworks were powered by RF Tsutomu Yamauchi's 5 RBI on his 11th double and 7th homerun for the year. Kankipati slipped in his spot start against the Zombies allowing 6 runs in only 3.1 IP. Jacksonville RF Randolph Clarke was 2 for 3 with 2 runs and a RBI. To secure a winning series it was up to Boman and he delivered in spades. But, as in game #2 of the series, it wasn't really necessary with the offense scoring 11 runs. LF Cosmo Pan was 3-5 with 2 runs, 3 RBI, and 2 HR.

@ Montreal Blazers 2-6 L Clark (L) - 3.0 IP, 7 H, 5 R, 0 BB, 2 K
@ Montreal Blazers 3-7 L Einan (L) - 6.2 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 2 BB, 6 K
Fresh of their series win over Jacksonville, the Spuds came into Montreal on a high note. That was doused pretty quickly with two games that probably should have been closer but the offense sputtered. Not to take credit from Montreal starters Samuel Nebraska (7.1 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 2 BB, 5 K) and Lúcio Juárez (6.2 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 6 K), of course. 2B Fernando Segura did all he could in the 2nd match collecting a double and a HR.
