
Moscow continues to ride the wave of mediocrity, going 3-3 over a six-game stretch. They dropped two close 1-run games against the Sharks but took two games from Buenas Aires.
Moscow - 6 Buenos Aires - 5 Moscow First Baseman Biao Li almost single-handedly dismantled the Brisas, going 3 for 4 with a walk while launching three home runs, all solo shots. His 3rd home run of the day came in the bottom of the ninth to bring the Thunder Bears within 1 run of tying the game.
Maximilian Nielsson took Kevin Davis deep on a 1-2 count for the walkoff 2-run HR in the bottom of the ninth.


Pitcher Jerry Bourque earned the GBC Pitcher of the Month Award and improved his record to 8-1 on the season with a 3.07 ERA.
Moscow is currently in negotiations to extend Bourque for another season.

RF Edward Lake was designated for assignment and placed on waivers
SP Shimpei Ono has been placed on the active roster. Ono was recently signed to the Thunder Bears roster after being released in April by the Omaha Cyclones of the BBA
