The Bluebirds have enjoyed a successful season thus far in the 2057 season, sitting atop the best division in baseball with a record of 62-26. Several players have attributed to the team’s success and seven of them earned an invitation to the All Star Game. While it’s arguable there could have been more Bluebirds selected, each team needs one representative so spots are limited. Here are the honored Bluebirds:
1. SP Barney Lindsay
– 10-4, 3.22 ERA, 78 FIP-

2. SP Eric Stevens – 11-4, 3.30 ERA, 111 K, 74 FIP-

3. RP Quirke Roddis – 3-2, 22 SV, 2.53 ERA, 11.5 K/9

4. 1B Wafid Bishr - .291/.341/.581, 23 HR, 78 RBI, 13 SB

5. 2B Colby Triska - .262/.362/.517, 290 AB, 18 HR, 1 SB, 136 wRC+, 2.8 WAR

6. CF Crissy Tingle - .336/.413/.449, 301 AB, 4 HR, 140 wRC+, 3.6 WAR

7. LF Juan Rivera - . 288/.387/.546, 302 AB, 18 HR, 14 SB, 151 wRC+, 3.3 WAR

Notable snubs included reigning Silk winner, Roger Kidd, who is tied for 2nd in the league with 23 HR. SS Brooks Eliot is among the most feared hitting shortstops in the league and was left off the roster, as was RP Cristo Munoz, who sports a 0.89 ERA over 50.1 IP.
Bishr came in as a substitute and hit a go ahead grand slam in the 9th inning to be named ASG MVP. Lindsay picked up the W.
