The Pharaohs went 2-2 over the last week, losing to Jerusalem before taking 2 or 3 against Sydney. The top three teams in the league have separated themselves a bit from the rest of the pack, with Athens in 1st place, Cairo 2 games back in 2nd, and London 5 games back in 3rd. The next closest team is Jerusalem at 11.5 games back. It looks likely to be a three team race for two playoff spots in the back half of the season.
Blair Peyton, who had a 21-game hitting streak earlier this year is back in double digits again. He currently has a 10-game hitting streak in which he has also scored a run in all 10 games. Peyton is now 2nd in the league in batting average at .346, trailing just Quinn Greene who is hitting .347.
