The second round of the "2042 BallPark Food Bracket" voting is coming down to the wire and many around the league expect tight races. With the vote likely being close, Portland General Manager Chris Wilson went out today and brought in a celebrity and expert to try and help push the team's entry, "Kate's Kookies" over the top in the voting so the club's entry could advance on to the elite 8.

"We are proud of our entry and want it to continue advancing" added Wilson today at a press conference prior to the team's upcoming home game this evening against the Hawaii Tropics. "We have a few home games this week and want to make sure everyone gets out and tries Kate's Kookies and votes for them. But to try and push us over the edge, we went out and hired a big gun."

That celebrity is expected to attend tonight's game against the Tropics and will be stationed outside the concession area for Kate's Kookies on the left field concourse area. The celebrity was not at the press conference but did issue a statement in which Wilson read.

"All our celebrity expert had to say prior to the game is 'me like cookies'" added Wilson. "What more do you want than that? I mean, who doesn't like cookies?"

The celebrity also prepared a song for tonight. Wilson played the video clip. However after the clip, rumors began swirling about the team's spelling of Kate's Kookies.

"There's no such thing as bad publicity" added Wilson. "Just a play on words. Hopefully that doesn't hurt us in the voting."
