On the Diamond Vol. 18 1999

Pitcher of the sim:
SP Oscar Funke
0-0 with a .00 ERA and 6 K's in 10.7 IP. He pitched 10 and 2/3 innings of shutout baseball and still didn't get credit for a win. We ended up winning that game in the bottom of the 18th. pretty crazy stuff.

Batter of the sim:
RF Sadahura Oh Jr
.316 AVG in 19 AB's. Decent sim for him.

2-3 and the stumble continues. However with our magic number down to 1 to clinch the wildcard and a 3 game series against hawaii, i feel like we should make it in. Granted i feel that I'm going to get bounced in the 1st round anyway but the extra revenue from those playoff games sure won't hurt.

Anything can happen in the playoffs.
You still have a team good enough to win.

This is computerized baseball. Very rarely does this best team win IMO. It wouldn't shock me if you did beat me.

Though I have to admit, for MBBA ratings purposes, the league needs a Madison vs Buffalo Championship Series. :champs:
