The Stars had a busy off season so far picking up some extra offense this off season...The Stars offence needed some help with some pop and bench this season....

The Stars added RF Rickard Gerg..Gerg will be a good bench player and start vs LHP...Gerg in two years in the MBBA has averaged .270 .376 OBP....
The next pickup was utility INF Dave Williams. Williams gives the Stars good speed and can start vs LHP...Both Williams and Gerg signed for 1.2 M for this season...
Vet INF Juan González signed a two year 2.8 M contract..Gonzalez could fill in at 3B and give the Stars some more pop off the bench...
To help with the pen the Stars got SP/MR Grux King..King had a disaster year last season but the Stars are hoping that a fresh new look over here will help him...

One of the weakest areas on the Stars is the outfielders... The Stars signed 38 year old Al Jones. Jones at 38 is not the player he was during his prime but he did hit 24 homers last season...This possibly be his last year and could give the Stars some extra pop in the lineup...
The last pickup is DH Phil Owry.. Owry last season hit .275 11 homers in only 84 games...So if he can stay healthy he could hit 20 homers this season...
