I am not a big fan of your Mother, and I got no problems with TWC tying up $11 or $12M a year on him/her. Platoon dh with no pizzaz.

Sekulic was going to be a minor league free agent. I already have 4 catchers on the 40 man and 3 more that I would roster before Sekulic. So I was just trying to get something out of nothing. I doubt Jarvis has a future in the BBA. Mostly just trying to get a young defensive minded player to help develop pitching for the next 4-5 years.

Your Mom has always been up and down(with the ratings that is). He has been a borderline 6/7 in both power and contact for a while now. In 26 he actually has better ratings BABIP of 8 and Power of 7 VS RHP as opposed to 7 and 6 right now in 25. I don't think he is lumping at all. In fact, I will almost guarantee that all three of his triple slash numbers will be career highs next year. The problem isn't going to be me eating his contract, it's going to be who fills his shoes when he opts out in 3 seasons.
