I know this will not help, but my wife thoroughly enjoyed watching me check the time over and over again as my cousin and his kids never left our house despite saying they were leaving by 8:30. At 10:15, we said our goodbyes, and my wife burst out laughing (It's the most pleasure I've given her in years...).
