After a nice 5-0 Sim opened closed the first half of the season, the Spuds stumbled dreadfully out of the blocks in the second half (recap) getting swept at Cape Fear and dropping the opener of a 4-game series in Atlantic City. Most of the 5 contests were competitive with the Spuds scoring 3.4 per game but giving up an ugly 5.6 per.
