An already scuffling Boise offense will have to increase production more urgently as Spuds ace Josh 'Kid' Clark has been placed on the IL with a tired arm - an injury that should hold him out for 2 weeks which means he would miss 3 starts as the rotation sets up for now. RP Tim Stops will take his spot as he returns from his own IL stint and re-assumes his role as the righty setup man to lefty Samir Qasim. Taking his role in the rotation, at least initially, will be Buddhapalita Kankipati. Clark has paced the starting rotation with a 6-3 record in 14 starts. He has logged a 3.44 ERA in 83.2 innings with a stellar 3.5 K/BB and +1.6 WAR. Mahad 'Furball' Einan will occupy Clark's slot atop the rotation with Kankipati moving to the #2 spot vacated by him.
