Another 2-win Sim for Boise as the focus moves from wins to the future and the young and/or fringe guys get their chance to perform. Sim #19 (recap) was not a good look for them. The offense was 'meh' enough scoring 4.3 per game, but pitching continued to struggle allowing 5.5. To be fair, many of these guys likely won't be with the team in 2063 so there's that.
SPUDS OF THE SIM - SIM #19
Pitcher

SP Muneer bin Khairy
24 G, 24 GS, 7-10, 4.36 ERA, 140.1 IP, 1.41 WHIP, +1.3 WAR
There were some excellent outings from the rotation in Sim #19. SP 'Furball' Einan went 7.2 innings at home against Mexico City allowing just 5 hits and 1 ER, but he walked 3 which cost him the W. P Robert Carlson is proving that maybe he really does belong in the rotation holding the Aztecs to 1 run on 3 hits in 6.1 innings while fanning 5. bin Khairy matched him locking up Mexico City for 1 run on 3 hits striking out 5. But he went 6.2 innings and that's enough to get the nod at this point in the year.
Batter

LF Cosmo Pan
89 G, 22 2B, 2 3B, 10 HR, 38 RBI, .293/.363/.520, 3 SB, +2.3 WAR
3B Bill Kuhn is on a mission to reach 100 RBI, he has 80 at this counting, and he helped his cause this Sim driving in 3 on a double, a triple, and a homerun slashing .421/.476/.737. 1B Tracy 'Jigga' Allison continues to reward GM Ben Teague's patience in believing he could grab the first base job full-time delivering 6 RBI with 2 doubles, 1 triple, and a HR even if he did slash just .217/.217/.522. But the versatile Pan, who can handle LF or RF, takes the nod this week. He slashed .375/.476/1.126 and posted 3 doubles and 3 HRs.
