So, yesterday I had intended to write a little TN about Dave Walsh. No, I wasn't going to write about his porn stache...Or is it a Larry Bird stache or just dirt? Who knows? I'm not going to write about that because it's insensitive! No I had thought about mentioning about how he has not allowed a single run in his last 21 innings (including his 2nd inning of a 2 inning outing on 4/29/2038) and the fact that he has only allowed 1 HR in 30.2 innings pitched for Boise despite a 4 movement rating...I was going to write about that and then Ron and Justin stole my article and prettied it up in a little newspaper thingamabob and called it their own material...They did change some words and stuff, like I used to do with research papers...maybe...So, anyway, I'm not going to write about that now as I don't want to step on their little toes or anything...
Tater Tots:
- So, a week or two ago, Sum Dum Guy (I don't remember who it was...no, seriously I don't remember) inquired about a few of my players and the name Jorge Baez came up...I didn't say anything, you know. I played it cool. I said to myself later though: "who the fuck (I know, I have a potty mouth in my thoughts) is Jorge Baez?" So, I searched my entire organization for Jorge and finally found him hiding in the dugout at AAA. I looked at his ratings and thought to myself: "He's better than who I have in my rotation now!" And up he came. "Sorry about your inquiry Mr. Dum Guy, but I'm not interested." It may have been Kyle and I could write a pretty humorous article on that interaction... Baez has no idea where the plate is but he somehow throws enough pitches in the general area to get some outs. So far, 4 starts for Boise and a 4.09 ERA in 22 innings with a 18/9 K/BB ratio. FIP stands at 3.18...and he throws with the wrong arm. It's hilarious to watch...It's like watching Boomer Esiason try and play QB...that guy is a riot...
- We also found out that Samuel Cant can allow runs...unfortunate...
- Super Tot - SFB is next on our playlist....The big showdown...the guys are pumped up like the Reds awaiting the Pirates... As a courtesy, we've flown Puig in to be our Sargent at Arms for the series. Tucker Barnhart said he'd like to tag along in case things got out of hand, but we felt that he might be a bit ineffective.
Kinda funny, I just noted that my AAA team is the Salt Lake City Alpines...SLC is known for its trees? I have no idea...
Just like Utah is known for its jazz music.....
