She was acquired by the Talons in 2050 through an international contract out of Canada, earning a bonus of $746,369. She spent many years developing in the minor leagues, and finally made her widely anticipated and record breaking debut in 2056 as the first female pitcher in BBA history. Talons scouting director Schytt E. Pyck had these comments: "Everybody thought we were doing a publicity stunt with Jodie, but in reality she is one of the most reliable members of our bullpen. The fans love her everywhere we go, and she always has the longest lines on autograph night. We love Jodie and hope she pitches here the rest of her career."
