Pedro Toro is a 6'2" 185lb outfielder from Bloomington, Minnesota. He was born on October 26th, 2042. He was acquired by the Talons via the 2061 Ammy Draft, being the 10th pick in round 1. As an 18 year old in rookie league, Toro had one of the best SNL seasons of all time in 2061 while recording 7.2 WAR in 66 regular season games, and a further 3.5 WAR in 16 playoff games. Making the leap to Toledo last year, he recorded 6.6 WAR in 99 games for the Liberty, with a further 1.8 WAR in 8 playoff games. Can he make the ultimate leap to the Talons in 2063?
Talons Scouting Director Schytt E. Pyck had this to say: "Toro is pretty decent for a top ten pick. We didn't like the pick too much, until someone in the chat suggested he might be a potential center fielder. So we worked on his range, which is up to 9. Maybe he can be a BBA center fielder. But who knows if we are doing the right thing. After all, we were scolded by BBA leadership for leaving an 18 year old in rookie league too long, so maybe we already screwed this guy up. Oh well."
