Francisco Moreno is a 6'5" 195lb pitcher from East Peoria, Illinios. He was born on December 18th, 2040. He was acquired by the Talons via the 2059 Ammy Draft, being the 19th pick in the first round. Moreno has yet to pitch in the big leagues, but the 21 year old left hander has recorded 10 WAR during his last two seasons in Toledo, culminating in the 2062 Pegler League Championship. Moreno is slated for a full time rotation spot in Phoenix next season.
Talons Scouting Director Schytt E. Pyck had this to say about Moreno: "We weren't too thrilled about drafting this guy. He even started lumping in late 2061, but this last year on the Liberty has done him good. Hopefully he'll be at a fully developed 7/6/7 next season, and maybe he can even be a league average pitcher. He'll be joining many of his fellow teammates from that 124 win Liberty team in Phoenix in 2063."
