2055-0025: Talons Notice Popes Write Article Saying They Traded With Talons, so Talons Figure They Should Write One Too

Phoenix, AZ--

In his mad dash to get to 100 team news articles in something like 7 weeks since taking over Sacremento, accomplished author and part time Mad Popes GM Ron Collins bashed out a quick blurb about some trade he made. Then the Talons Electronic Media And Forum Posting Department noticed something.

"The article was about us!" an intern gasped.

Aside from some unabashed enthusiasm about Your Mom (and who could blame them!), the M'Opes article mainly focused on a trade they made with Phoenix. They claim to have sent a pitcher, Terence Harris, to the Talons in exchange for another pitcher, some guy named Pancho Andres. In said article, all sorts of cliched platitudes were written about both the departing and arriving player, as is typical of such post-trade press releases. The article also said that Harris was supposed to be in the Phoenix bullpen, which is odd because, I mean, like how did they know that?? Weird.

Anyway, so yeah there was a trade.

But last we checked, ol' @RonCo only had 94 Team News articles and the deadline is TONIGHT. Better get crackin'! Chop Chop!
