The Talons have a minor league team called the Toledo Liberty. This is generally considered to be the best minor league team of all time. With the advent of age limits, no one can start the season in Toledo older than 25 years old. Some thought this would be bad for the Liberty. However, the Liberty are once again playing baseball with a .750+ winning percentage. This means that they will likely win 100 games once again, for the 12th time in the last 14 seasons.

In the past the Liberty would be assigned a bunch of 30+ year old has-beens. But now they have to play with actual prospects. And, looking at the roster, we can see that there are some real standouts on the roster. SP Lucas Rose has a 1.00 ERA in 13 starts and even threw a no hitter a couple weeks ago. RF Feng-yi Fung leads the team with 24 home runs. There is even a new Liberty legend in the making, LF Winston Carreon. He already has over 16 WAR in less than three seasons. The OOTP page says he is only a 40 POT, so we are not sure if he is really a prospect or not. But he sure does hit good.
