LF Ray Cooper
Career Stats
.276 BA / .842 OPS / 303 HR's / 1023 RBI's / 942 Run's / 35.0 WAR
While never flashy or dominant, Ray Cooper was a steady fixture in Left Field for Twin Cities for 12+ Seasons. Cooper was born and raised a few hours away from the Twin Cities in Mitchell, SD and never put on another uniform in the BBA.
He was so consistent, he had a 9 season streak of putting up at least 2.5 WAR each year.
His best season was in 2033 putting a 7.0 WAR while hitting 36 Home Runs, 42 Doubles, bringing home 128 RBI's while hitting .309 with a .953 OPS. Cooper was a key offense piece that powered the River Monster offense to the City's first Play Off run. He earned the 2033 Frick League Golden Bat... not an easy feat in the Frick league that had offensive powerhouse hitters all through the league in Left Field.
"I'll always be a River Monster," Ray stated when he was asked about his honor, "I couldn't wait to join the organization when I heard that Minnesota was going to awarded an Expansion Team when I was still in High School.
There was a chance that wouldn't happen as Ray Cooper was originally drafted by the Seattle Storm in 2027, before being traded to Twin Cites in 2028.
