2032.3 River Monsters Beat - 1st Round Pick (2nd Over-all)

Post by Spiccoli » Wed Jul 26, 2017 6:39 pm

Image Center Fielder Wes "Crash Test" Savage

Twin Cities is proud to announce and introduce the 2nd Over-All Pick of the 2032 Rookie Draft, 17 year old New York native, Wes Savage. Wes shows excellent natural ability both as a hitter and outfielder. He even shows some aptitude and willingness to play some infield in the future.

Part of the appeal for Twin Cities was Wes's ability to put in the extra work to better himself and he expressed his desire to join the River Monster organization to make his selection by the River Monster front office a no-brainer.

Savage ended his HS career with the Ford Motors All Star team with a .350 average and 37 HR's over 120 games.

lol... Maybe he's yearning for vast extended stretches of windy frigid farmland and 1000's of lakes to ice fish for sturgeon and muskie.

It could have been our annual Ice Fishing Tourney. Most of the team just plays baseball in the summer to pass the time until Hunting/Fishing season rolls around.

I mean, who wants to move to California or the East Coast after experiencing this kind entertainment.
