CARTWRIGHT CUP SERIES PREVIEW
Nashville Bluebirds vs Twin Cities River Monsters

All-Heartland Showdown

The 2061 Cartwright Cup is set, and it's an all-Heartland brawl as the 109-win Nashville Bluebirds take on the 101-win Twin Cities River Monsters in a heavyweight clash. Both teams punched their tickets in thrilling fashion: Nashville outlasted Hawaii, while Twin Cities took down Sacramento in a hard-fought 7-game series.

Season Series Recap:
Nashville took 8 of 14 matchups during the regular season, thanks to elite run prevention and timely power. Twin Cities hung tough, winning 6, and will look to reverse that trend with their well-balanced attack and underrated pitching depth.

- Jerry Stone: 1-0, 10.0 IP, 2.70 ERA 12K
- Erik Brooks: 22.1 IP, 5.27 ERA 22K

X-Factors

Nashville – Carter Cramer (RF): Tingle who?! A consistent threat all season and clutch in the postseason, Cramer is the engine of the Bluebirds’ top-ranked offense. If he keeps getting on base and hitting for extra bases, Nashville becomes incredibly hard to beat.

Twin Cities – Raúl Gallehos (1B): Gallehos dominated Nashville pitching in the regular season, slugging nearly 1.000 against them. If he brings that same energy in the Cup, it could swing the momentum early in the series.

Predictions:
This is a clash of titans. Nashville brings elite pitching and the league’s best offense, while Twin Cities is gritty, balanced, and battle-tested. Don’t be surprised if this one goes the distance—Game 7 is circled on everyone's calendar already.

Get your peanuts and Cracker Jack ready—the Cartwright Cup is going to be a classic!
