Multi-Trillionaire Tech Master Linked to Baseball Figure

Moreau Westmoreland made news today, attending a gala celebration to mark the launch of the Nueral Net Alliance, his latest charitable venture focused on ensuring underserved populations all received equal access to neural augmentation and brain-interface technologies. But the famously neural-netted multi-trillionaire made news in more ways than one by officially stepping out with Bikini Krill Assistant GM Monica Green on his arm.
“I’m here to make sure all people around the globe know they have a place in the future,” Westmoreland said, looking resplendent wearing a Georgio suit that had been netted with high-data microfibers, his own temporal implant dazzling in the lights. “It’s what I’ve dedicated my life to.” After outlining the meat of the program, which included investments in connections that would provide advanced emotional support constructs for children in crisis, and rehabilitation systems to support individuals whose uploaded consciousnesses have experienced instability, as well as a decentralized network geared to provide energy credits to power-insecure communities worldwide, he joined Monica Green at a banquet table.
“We’re going dancing after this, so I’m hoping I don’t break her foot,” Westmoreland quipped when asked if this was a date or whether Ms. Green was here in some business capacity.
Green, sporting a razor cut and looking amazing in a simple off-white dress and sapphire earrings, grinned and said she was sure he’d manage.
Who Is In Charge?
Though rumors that Westmoreland and Green were connected have been floating around for some time, it represents their first public appearance as a couple, and throws some questions into the mix when it comes to who is in charge of the Bikinin Krill’s daily operation.
“That’s the farthest thing from my mind right now, because it’s crystal clear,” Green said when asked about the team’s structure, her gaze gleaming in paparazzi flashes as she leaned into Westmoreland, propping herself with a hand on the multi-trillionaire’s chest. “Ron (Collins) is the GM of the team. I’m his assistant. I like my job, and I love my team. My contract doesn’t even come due until the end of next year. I would think of messing with his control unless it was in the best interest of the team.”
When another journalist brought up her recent suggestions that perhaps Collins might want to reconsider his public statements about the value of the post season, Westmoreland gave on of his patented dazzling smile full of teeth. “Come, Monica, the Twist calls.” Then he took his date by the elbow and whisked her away.
Collins was not available for comment at the time of this printing, but was thought to be working to arrange the annual Bikini front office review of the season—a meeting that, after the team dropped from 89 victories to only 78, is bound to be more than a bit bloody.
