Sure Fire Locks (1):
Claudio Morgan, R/R (7/7/4/6/10, .270/.342/.366/.708)- Morgan, 24, still hasn't had his breakout season. The Hustlers still have plenty of faith in him.
Near Locks (1):
John Stanley, R/R (8/7/4/6/9, .342/.387/.495/.881)- Stanley was a perfect backup catcher and part-time DH against left-handed hitters, and figures to serve in the same role this season.
Trying To Break In (0):
None
Breaking In The Back Door (1):
Rich Chandler, S/R (5/7/7/8/4, .335/.419/.557/.976 for Reno in AA)- Chandler is a decent bat as a backup catcher, but lacks the defensive ability to truly be taken seriously as a roster candidate.
The Hustlers certainly need to add some catching depth here and will likely be looking for some additions as they go into Spring Training.
