Noon was acquired for his ability to just destroy lefthanded pitching. "He may be one of the best hitters in the league, period, against lefties," said GM Matt Rectenwald. "We're thrilled to have him join us for our potential playoff run."
As for Barrera, he's not the Ricardo Barrera of old who made a name for himself first setting up Gunga Ooagalagunga in New Orleans and second as a closer for the Wolves. He does, however, bring a veteran presence to the middle innings for the Hustlers and allows them to return Greg "Gyro" Ganzfield to Marquette (AAA) where he can continue to develop as a starting pitcher.
Henderson was a solid pitching prospect (rated as the Hustlers #4 overall prospect but not in the BA 100), but certainly has his share of flaws. Madison, however, should be happy to explore his potential upside.
