Crawdad Chronicles 60.05 - Bin Nasser proves ready for the show

With Juan Donestavez likely moving on, New Orleans will look to Adib Bin Nassar as his potential replacement.

Nassar was signed as an IFA in the 2055 season to a 13.5M deal. IFA isnt an invesment that always pans out, but in the case of Bin Nasser, it appears this one will.

Nasser is the #16 prospect in the BBA, and has preformed at every level. In 2060 he hit .304 with 16 HRs for AAA Havana. That was good enough to earn him a September call-up.

Once he was there - he may never return. In 23 games, the 22 year old Kuwaiti hit .312 with a .375 OBP. The biggest knock on him is his average outfield defense, lack of speed, and frankly his strickeout ratio - which is likely to improve with more time under the lights.

Bin Nasser will likey start the season penciled in as the starting Right Fielder. With a lot of talent leaving this off-season, it will be up to Bin Nasser to help keep the wheels on the perverbial bus in the big easy.
