Nothing much to see her, dear readers. Your obligatory 2063 Des Moines Kernels TN post about our first round pick, who is expected to sign with ease: OF Jon Scaife (4/10/6). Don't know if he is any relation to Chris Scaife in the LV organization. Oh, it's Jon, one of those English speakers that dops their H's. Like all good speakers do. Jon is from Cumberland Hill, RI, and is extremely popular locally; I wish that meant Des Moines locally but he'll be popular here soon enough. He has skills in all areas: hitting, catching, and running, and his chief skill is knocking the beelzebub off the ball. Jon had five three-HR games during his days at the Marriott Hops. His agent says he'll sign for $700mm.

He stands 6' 6", weighs in at 200 lbs, and has a generous swing, often striking out three or four times a game. But hey! a strike out is better than a double play. He struck out 31% of the time he came to the plate this season. Welp, looks like the local Kum & Go will be reducing its air conditioning costs. Starting when? Old Jon is 20, which makes him Young Jon. He stands at 30 out of 50 POT, so that looks like a start at Double-A to me. Great, he can partner with DMO's no. 1 pick of 2060, RF Ricardo Magana (5/10/6). Hey, these two guys are like mirror images of each other, splits wise. You'd of thought that JR did that on purpose.
