KT 62.47 - Coupla decent relievers developing in the minors

Javier Arteaga, a southpaw drafted in the 6th round of the '60 draft (JR's first), posted a 0.87 ERA and 20 saves in 30 games for Portsmouth (A). He's now a 5/7/7 (50) potential with a 100mph cutter. He was promoted to closer at Double-A Providence and has struck out 10 batters in 10.1 innings. Right now the big board lists him as #2 reliever in the organization, sorted by all players and potential ratings. His HRA potential is 8, and I like that aspect. He's one guy that I haven't altered his development sliders for.

Right after him in the same sort is Cipriano Díaz, (8/5/7 POT)(50) who's 22 and may be ready for a promotion to Double-A. This is his second season at Single-A. In 28 games, and innings, he's 6-2 with 8 saves and a 2.57 ERA. His development sliders have also not been touched. The DMO has tried to invest in their minor league managers' development skills. Díaz was drafted 475th overall (15th round), also in the 2060 amateur draft. He's gone from a 5/4/5 POT to 8/5/7. The DMO might promote hom now to Double-A, and if we do, he'll be the number one set-up man for Arteaga.

OFer Ray McGregor (5/5/7), drafted in Round 8 of the same 2060 draft, has just been promoted to Double-A.
