With the start of the season bearing down, GM Calvaruso executed two, low level trades that could change the franchise for the near and distant future.
Calvaruso was able to negotiate the trade of C Dan Calhoun to Rockville for the full rights to Rule 5 draftee, SS Juan Domingo. Calvaruso then went to work and was able to accomplish the same with Rule 5 SS Jose Gonzales and Chicago with the trade for CL Wagaw "Bonehead" Ridhwani.
While the two modest trades may never create a seismic movement on the San Antonio franchise their implementation has fulfilled the wish of everyone across Texas and the BBA, 1B Larry Stinson was added to the active roster! The rallying cry "Free Larry" need never be heard again from the fans of the Outlaws and the hopes and dreams of many within the San Antonio inner circle have officially commenced.

Needless to say, the fresh faced 20 yr old from Puerto Rico did not disappoint in his first full week of action. In his 27 plate appearance and 23 official at bats, Stinson had 8 Hits, 6 Runs, 6 RBI's, 3 HR's and is carrying a .348 BA and .444 OBP.
Additionally, the waiving of RP Mario Contreras has left two open spots on the 27 man roster and there is ample speculation that 3B prospect Alfredo Rosas is not far behind Stinson.
One thing is for sure, the Outlaws are sick and tired of being sick and tired and they ain't gonna take it anymore. Buckle up San Antonio.
