2061 Pitcher of the Year
This year was a unique year for the Outlaws in that there was a large infusion of youth in the starting rotation. It was a transition year from the veteran starters that held down slots in the rotation for the last several years as the team brought in some younger players. There were a few good performances, and the team did fairly well overall earning the 10th best ERA in the Johnson. While this is not typically a point of pride among teams, the fact that the average age of the starting rotation was 24 years old meant something. Anyways, someone has to win this award so here we go.

2061 Best Starter
The award this year goes to the man who was slated as the opening day pitcher for the Outlaws and started 36 games, going almost 200 innings, 2nd year starter Cesar Franco. Franco went 12-12 and had the most wins among starters on the team. He struck out 150 batters and walked 53 over 199.2 innings pitched. He tallied 17 quality starts and finished the season with a WAR of 4.4. The team will look for Franco to work on his movement going into 2062 but expects that the lefty will once again anchor the starting staff.

2061 Best Reliever
This was a tough award to hand out as there were some good performances but no standout years from the relief corp. Many players had great stretches of play but added in rough patches that saw their counting stats shift. Once such player was the winner of this award for best reliever, Felix Camarco. The 1st year outlaw had the most appearances for any pitcher on the team with 84 games pitched and logged an impressive 126.2 innings pitched. He went 7-12 with 11 saves. He had ERA’s of 1.29 in April and 3.13 in August but had a disastrous end of the year with a 7.47 ERA in September. Overall his 4.19 ERA was nothing special but the overall quantity of his appearances means he had a decent amount of value for the team.
